Fashionable School Girl

Immediately when piecing this outfit together I thought of a school girl. Maybe it was the button up shirt, who knows. But today I had to do a presentation in my retail lab class (and it sucks because I misunderstood the dress code) but this is what I threw together. Unfortunately I could not wear the hat which sucks because I kind of thought that's what made the outfit. I think the dress is hideous but yet I still occasionally find myself wearing it. The build of it just pokes out too much at the waist for me but I always seem to find ways to make it work. Its so funny because when I first received the hat in the mail I hated it also but I am finding myself getting used to it. Basically I put a whole lot of what I didn't like together and made it into an outfit I love :)My favorite piece from the outfit were the shoes which I got at Aldo for $40 last weekend.
